As an intern, I was treated like a first year staff accountant and was exposed to both audit and tax engagements.  I also got to interact with clients and learned there’s more to accounting than sitting at a desk all day.  The overall experience was rewarding and gave me a great insight into a public accounting career.

I started at SB as an intern in 2011 and have been hooked ever since… I’ve been provided opportunities to grow my career to the supervisory level, the work I do for clients and the comradery it takes to complete an audit is fulfilling, I couldn’t ask for better people to work with, and the Fridays off during summer don’t hurt either!

My internship experience was great and I am so thankful it was with SB. You get to see a lot of different things throughout the internship so you never feel like it’s the same thing every day.  The employees are so great about helping when you need it and never make you feel bad for asking questions.

I chose to work at SB because of the career challenges offered & size of the firm.   After five years of working for a large corporation, it was nice to be able to work with all levels of personnel from staff to partner level and to be challenged in all aspects of insurance accounting.  At SB you are more than an employee, your input and contribution to the firm is valued.
